Graphic feat. Beans - I Am Metal (Martyn's 3024 Robot Mix) / Heroine [OSR017]
Perhaps the most highly anticipated Offshore release ever, Martyn’s remix of Graphic’s cult classic “I Am Metal” (which features avant-garde lyricist, Beans of Warp and Anti Pop Consortium fame) has everyone talking. Martyn steps up for his first stab at remix duty and we couldn’t be happier with the results! A steppy number that includes his signature Detroit feel utilizes a minimal amount of the original Beans vocal, but is so very effective in doing so. The “I Am Metal” chorus swirls around in the background only to periodically slap you in the face with an over saturated “METAL”. A Deep bassline, swirling pads and gritty synth- this is next level Offshore! Switching things up on the flip is an original by Graphic. “Heroine” features a rough drum kit juxtaposed with lush keys and discordant bleeps and blips. Additionally, the track includes historians speaking on the Salem Witch Trials- “…her husband and daughter were hanged as well for good measure.” This type of sound has not been heard since the experimental days of Reinforced, but don’t take our word for it. Selling Points: :First remix work ever by Martyn : Offshore label boss, Clever, mixed current Knowledge cover CD :Support on BBC from Fabio & DJ Flight : DJ Support from Marcus Intalex, DJ Lee, Calyx, Breakage, Alleycat

Trinity: The expansion you have to see
We're getting an expansion this winter, and it's real shiny. In fact, it's so shiny that we had to add a lot of other things just so you could see how shiny it is. Its shininess includes 50 man-years of work remodeling all spaceships, stargates and station exteriors and interiors, plus all the improvements and additions that go hand in hand with introducing this kind of burning luminosity. It is, in fact, a brand new graphic engine, tuned and tweaked with everything from asynchronous resource loading to intelligent fallback mechanisms to give the best performance possible, and we're very proud of it. To show off its shininess we're adding a host of Tech II ships that include the eerie Black Ops, the spearheading Marauders and the warp-jamming Heavy Interdictors, not to mention the lockdown terrors that are the Electronic Attack Ships, and the masters of the supply chain, the Jump Freighters. That's not to mention an abundance of PvE content, including hundreds of new kill missions, and various game advancements ranging from improved drone management to new booster production regions. EVE, our tranquil and magnificent vision, has been given a terrifying new beauty. Weiterlesen...

Steinberg Cubase SX v3.0.2.623
Steinberg Cubase SX v3.0.2.623
Beschreibung: Cubase SX3 takes music production to a new level by adding more than 70 new features including powerful Audio Warp Realtime Timestretching, an intuitive Play Order Track, convenient Inplace Editing and many new editing functions. For the first time, a native music production system combines full-featured audio and MIDI recording and editing, virtual instruments and powerful audio mixing with the added flexibility of loop- and pattern-based arranging and mixing. Cubase SX3 supports Windows XP and Mac OSX and works with a multitude of audio interfaces. Add to that the seamless integration of external audio and MIDI hardware, and Cubase SX3 redefines music production technology. Top-10 new features of Cubase SX3 Audio Warp: Realtime Time Stretching and Pitch Shifting offer extensive new audio editing and processing capabilities, including ACIDÂŽ File support: loops automatically adopt a project’s tempo; audio files can follow tempo changes in realtime. Intuitive Play Order Track for pattern-based arranging adds a new level of creative music editing. Divide your song into sections, and then re-arrange it on the fly. Compare alternative versions of your song and then convert them back into a linear form for mixdown and mastering. New Inplace Editor supports ultra-fast direct MIDI event editing from within the project page. Edit MIDI events in context with audio or video. New MIDI Device Maps / Panels support direct access to external MIDI hardware with user-definable graphic editing panels. Import VST Mixer Maps or create your own editing panels, even for the Track Inspector or the mixer’s channel strip. User-definable Workspaces (window layouts) help organizing your desktop. Create and save a separate workspace for each step of the production process. Switch Workspaces on the fly, as if working on multiple computers or monitors. Studio Connections “Total Recall” support (optional integration of Yamaha’s Studio Manager 2). The first step into a new dimension of software/hardware integration. This modular editing system builds a powerful bridge between the virtual and physical studio. Opening a project can recall an entire studio setup within seconds. External FX Plugins allow for direct integration of external hardware effects processors into the VST audio mixer. Use your favorite outboard gear just like plugins – including automatic delay compensation. Extended Freeze function for virtual instruments and audio tracks with added flexibility and improved performance. Freeze virtual instruments with or without insert effects. Then automatically unload the instrument to free up RAM. Freeze audio tracks with insert effects to free up even more CPU performance. New part-based Volume Envelopes for direct control of dynamics. Fix level problems on the fly without wasting automation tracks. Then move events with their volume envelopes. User-definable Color Coding for tracks and VST mixer channels provides more clarity and better orientation – especially in complex projects.

Get the funk down". Martyn (real name Martyn Deykers) has provided body moving, Detroit techno influenced funk to the dance floors since the early nineties. A love for Detroit techno, Chicago house and hip hop fueled his need to be seriously involved in music. When exposed to drum & bass in 1995, Martyn was destined to take things further musicly, he began to lay the foundations of his career as a DJ, producer and promoter. As a founding member and resident DJ of the Red Zone collective (DJs Nymfo, Pressure & MC Jay), Martyn brought the city of Eindhoven (Holland) a range of quality drum & bass nights. Over the years, Red Zone events have become amongst the most influential d&b nights on the continent. With the promoter role well established Martyn pursued his career taking djÂing / producing to a next level.
MartynÂs talents are best displayed while DJing, providing an eclectic musical selection while not being afraid to bring new sounds to the table, even dipping into other genres, if the vibe is right for it, adding to his versatility. He has played at a wide range of venues in the Netherlands and abroad (UK, USA, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Luxemburg, France), not forgetting his various radio appearances such as BBC 1Xtra, Kool FM London, Ministry of Sound, Studio Brussels (Belgian national radio), 3Voor12 (Dutch national radio).
MartynÂs vision of dnb as an advanced future proof musical form, is being realized by his continuing production; utilizing bleepy oddities, outside musical influences, and sounds that move him. 2005 marked an important stage in MartynÂs career: with his music receiving healthy rotation by well respected d&b DJs such as Fabio, Grooverider, Digital, Flight, Storm, Calyx, Teebee, Friction, Marcus Intalex, Lee, Fierce & D-Bridge on various radio shows & at live events. Autumn 2005 saw two high profile releases from Martyn: the massive nxt 2 u / deepwood which is the 1st release from DJ Flight & PaulaÂs brand new label play:musik, and Get Down / Black Lies on Marcus Intalex' Revolve:r imprint. With these two releases Martyn was branded as a promising new comer at BBC 1xtraÂs Best of 2005 Chart (3rd best newcomer) and back home in Holland where he was titled ÂBest Producer" at the Dutch DNB Awards. In March 2006 Martyn had another double attack with Virgo / Missing Song on play:musik and I Wonder Why / Share my Wings on Revolve:r. ÂI Wonder Why" is definitely the track that separates the men from the boys, receiving rotation from Goldie, Fabio, Andy C, Flight, D-Bridge and Marcus Intalex. After 4 solo-releases Martyn remixed GraphicÂs ÂI am Metal" (which features avant-garde lyricist, Beans of Warp fame) for New York City cult label Offshore. In June 2006 he signed another solo 12", this time for Irish label Bassbin, ÂBelieve It / Cloud Convention", forthcoming in early Fall 2006 as part of BassbinÂs 10 year anniversary festivities.
MartynÂs production stretches further than the boundaries of drum Ân bass. His style received attention from Nomadico aka Dj Dex, a member of Underground Resistance (Detroit) who recently remixed MartynÂs ÂGet Down" forthcoming on Revolve:r. Full of musical ideas, Martyn is currently working on a selection of tracks, some of which are dnb oriented as well as house, techno, and down tempo inspired. With more soon to be projects, including a techno 12", it is impossible to ignore the impact Martyn is making on the scene
His DJ work has become more frequent & far-reaching, with increasing interest being shown worldwide in recognition of his distinct style of DJing & production. Judging from the response to MartynÂs recent performances in the USA [NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston, Dallas, Boston, Washington DC], UK [Scala & Swerve (London), Carbon (Brighton), Momentum (Leeds), Intrigue (Bristol), Submerged (Cardiff) and Source (Oxford)], Frankfurt (Robert Johnson) and Munich Germany, 2006 is set to be an outstanding year for Martyn!

Save your changes as a custom workspace or choose from a variety of default workspaces for different workflow option.
Known Issues & Changes The following are known issues or changes from previous versions of Paint Shop Pro that may affect your use of Paint Shop Pro 8:
Lines and preset shapes can appear excessively jagged when Âanti-aliasing" is turned off and a small stroke width is selected. The rendering of gradients used on text objects has changed from Paint Shop Pro 7. Previously gradients were applied separately to each character in a text string; in Paint Shop Pro 8, a gradient is applied across the entire text string. If you would like to render text as in Paint Shop Pro 7, select the text object then choose Convert Text to Curves>As Character Shapes. If you use Animation Shop, you will be unable to export frames to Paint Shop Pro 8 and/or update them back to Animation Shop. Further, you will need to save layered files in the Paint Shop Pro 7-compatible format in order to open them in Animation Shop. In order to better differentiate Paint Shop Pro files from similar file types used by other applications, we are now using long file type extensions, e.g. *.pspimage. In the installation, Paint Shop Pro 8 created a folder called ÂMy PSP8 Files" (by default in your ÂMy Documents folder). This folder is used for any resources that you create or add to the program, e.g. tubes, brushes, gradients, patterns, textures, etc. To set additional file locations, go to the File menu and choose Preferences>File Locations. Paint Shop Pro 8 introduces support for WIA (Windows Image Acquisition). As a result, support for some devices may be different than in previous versions of Paint Shop Pro. Due to the size of the deformation map that must be saved in each Undo step, large amounts of RAM can be consumed when using the Warp brush or Mesh Warp tool. If you use these tools frequently on large images, we recommend increasing the size of your Undo limit. For better performance, you may also want to free up additional hard drive space and/or add RAM to your system. Rapidly pressing the Backspace key multiple times when entering text may cause an error. We suggest pressing the Backspace key less rapidly and/or not holding the key down to delete text. We hope to address many of these issues in future updates and appreciate your patience if these affect you in your work with the program.
